Green School Model UN Ranking by Best Delegate

The Green School’s Model United Nations Program has just been ranked fourth in North America by BestDelegate.com. In the past few years it broke into the top five. Today’s ranking places FIU in the company of University of Chicago, Georgetown, and Harvard. According to its director, Ethan Roberts the team’s success “reflects the high caliber of our students and our outstanding faculty.” Competing at eight major conferences throughout the year “FIU distinguished itself through its professionalism, focus, and its character,” Roberts noted. FIU’s team “is one of the most diverse in North America reflecting the strength of the FIU student body,” observed John Stack, the faculty advisor. The team is drawn from the Green School, the College of Business, the Honors College, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the School of Journalism and Mass Communications. Recruitment for the 2015-2016 team is underway throughout the summer. Please contact Ethan Roberts at ModelUN@fiu.edu.
