The FIU Model UN team is proud to announce that it has been ranked as the 5th Best Model UN team in North America and is the top ranked team in the State of Florida according to BestDelegate.com
3 conferences in 11 days? No sweat for FIU MUN.

FIU MUN recently completed a whirlwind schedule by competing in 3 conferences in just 11 days time. Five FIU team members, along with program director Ray Hernandez participated at the West Point Security Conference (WPSC) in West Point, NY from March 29 through April 1. The 5 delegates would go on to win first place overall, with all five winning individual awards.

Representing the Republic of India, 24 FIU students participated in this year’s Harvard National Model United Nations (HNMUN) conference in Boston. As a result of their collective efforts, the FIU Model United Nations team returned from the conference with increased respect for FIU and its academic reputation.
FIU Model UN Makes it 5-in-a-row at NMUN

Representing the Netherlands at this year’s National Model United Nations Conference (NMUN), the FIU Model United Nations Program was awarded the Outstanding Delegation Award, the highest accolade possible, for the 5th straight year. This year’s conference took place from March 30th through April 4th and was held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.

On February 26 and 27, 2010, three hundred and fifty high school students and their teachers participated in the FIU FIMUN High School Model UN Conference. The event hosted audiences of high schools from all over south Florida.
