

The Organization of the American States will provide delegates a bilingual platform to discuss the Proliferation of Drug Trafficking in the Americas with a focus on the security, corruption, and governance challenges that fuel the crisis. In addressing drug trafficking, delegates will explore its profound impact on regional stability, democratic institutions, and civilian life. In this committee, delegates will analyze the failures and successes of past military-led actions in the region of America, deciding what will be the best course of action. By confronting one of the most persistent and violent challenges in the Western Hemisphere, the brutal reality of these communities at the front and neighboring lines of the drug war comes to the forefront of this committee's conversations. Through collaboration and in-depth discussion, actionable solutions will be drafted to ensure sustainable regional security in the face of this ongoing crisis.
This committee is a Spanish bilingual. It will have English and Spanish speaking elements throughout its sessions.
