Director
Aidan Papke
Aidan Papke is a second year honors college student at FIU majoring in International Relations and pursuing certificates in Agroecology, International Logistics, and Asian Studies. His journey in MUN started in 2020, when he founded his high school’s team. Ever since then, Model UN has been an integral part of his life, and is by far his favorite activity at FIU. In the future, he hopes to work in international environmental and development policy, particularly for the benefit of Pacific island nations. Outside of school, Aidan loves to spend time in the outdoors, try new things, and play pickleball. He is thrilled to be directing this committee, as the Everglades have an extra special place in his heart.

He has been a proud member of FIU Model UN since January 2024. He founded the Speech and Debate Club and enjoys strategic competition as president of the Chess club. When he’s not working on MUN or playing chess you can find him in the Everglades taking pictures of the wildlife. He's excited to use his experience in ecology, public speaking, and environmental advocacy to chair this FIMUN committee!
