The FIU Model United Nations Program has quietly grown into one of the most successful collegiate MUN Programs in the world. Moreover, the Model United Nations Program is the most successful intercollegiate program at Florida International University. Although the last decade was characterized by continued success, FIU MUN has stayed true to the core principles it seeks to instill in its delegates: diplomacy, integrity, diligent research, and respect for delegates from other universities.
FIU MUN Delegates view their current success as being made possible by the foundation laid out by previous generations of delegates. The success of one year is seen as predicated upon the success of others and is due in large part to those who gave much of their personal time and efforts to see FIU MUN grow into what it is today.
The donation received will be used to alleviate some of the financial burden that is associated with the program.
