Isabella Balbi Masso
Isabella Balbi Masso is a third-year student majoring in International Relations, specializing in Middle Eastern studies and Latin American Politics here at FIU. She was born and raised in Mar del Plata, Argentina moving to Florida in 2016. She has been a proud member of the FIU Model UN team for over 2 years now, having attended multiple conferences and also bringing with her a lot of experiences from doing Model UN both in her home country and high school. As a part of FIMUN’s Secretariat, she previously served as the Director of Delegate Affairs for FIMUN 35, Chief of Staff and Crisis Director at FIMUN 36. She loves the fact that she will get to share amazing experiences with the friends she has made as part of the competitive Model UN teams at FIU and FIMUN Secretariat. When she is not working on FIMUN, you can find her doing community service with her Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority Inc. sisters, studying a new language like Arabic or Korean, at the museum or hanging out with friends. She’s so grateful and ready to use her experience with the previous FIMUN and her experience as a delegate in Model UN to create the best FIMUN yet as the Secretary-General of FIMUN 37!

Alexandria Cerini
Alexandria Cerini is a third-year student majoring in Public Relations and Advertising here at FIU. She was born and raised between Italy and California, moving to Florida in 2019. She has been a proud member of the FIU Model UN team for over 2 years now, having attended 6 conferences and awarding at Harvard and NYU’s conferences. As a part of FIMUN’s Secretariat, she previously served as the USG of Specialized Agencies for FIMUN 36 and was a Crisis Director at FIMUN 35. She is incredibly grateful for the amazing experiences and friends she has made as part of the competitive and Secretariat Model UN teams at FIU. In her free time she can often be found reading a book by the pool or cross stitching. She’s excited to use her experience as a PR and Advertising Account Executive and her experience as a delegate in Model UN to create the best FIMUN yet as the Director-General of FIMUN 37!

Camila Ramirez Fayad
Camila Ramirez Fayad (She/Her) is a 3rd year at Florida International University, majoring in Political Science and International Relations with a minor in Religious Studies. She is currently working towards certifications in Middle East and Muslim world studies, human rights and political transition, as well as law, ethics, and society. Camila is passionate about learning and researching marginalized communities' resilience and the challenges they face, starting locally in South Florida with her work at FIU's Commons for Justice. In her free time, she enjoys looking for new ways to postpone her graduation, reading, and spending all her money on music festivals, concerts, and Doc Martens. Camila never knew about Model UN until her 2nd year at FIU, but since then she has fallen in love with the program and its community. She has had the opportunity to chair one of FIMUN 36's committees and wishes to be more involved in the process. With over 2 years of experience in event management and logistics, she hopes FIMUN 37 is one to remember.

Carmen Ordonez
Carmen Ordonez is a rising senior at FIU double majoring in International Relations and Political Science with a certificate in Latin American & Caribbean Studies. This would be her fourth and final year on the FIU Model UN team and has proudly served as Head Delegate for the 2022-2023 school year, FIMUN 35 Director of Marketing, and Director for the DISEC, Guatemalan Civil War, and SOCHUM committees in past iterations of FIMUN. She now serves as FIMUN 37’s Undersecretary General of General Assembly committees. Outside of MUN, Carmen has interned at FIU in Washington DC, is involved in the Sigma Iota Rho Honor Society, and is a proud sister of Sigma Kappa. Having done Model UN since her freshman year of high school, she is sad to leave, but happy to finish off off her 8 year Model UN journey making the best memories with the best team ever!

Carlos Ricuarte
Carlos is an FIU Junior, majoring in Political Science and International Relations. He grew very fond of the topic due to it being a way to understand the world, through its many complexities and challenges. Carlos is an international student, born and raised in Colombia. He’s also very interested in reading and watching movies, being particularly interested in Historical and Science Fiction pieces. Reading and writing caught his attention from a very early age, as a great way to express ideas and tackle interesting topics. Besides these things, a good chat with his friends always helps to keep him motivated as well!

Kathy Cuellar
Kathy Cuellar (she/her/hers) is a senior in the School of International and Public Affairs majoring in Political Science and International Relations and working towards certificates in Latin American and Caribbean Studies and National Security Studies. Kathy previously had the opportunity to be Director of Delegate Affairs for FIMUN36, where she worked with her teammates to create a space for the future generation of leaders to learn and grow. This will now be her second year on the team and she is beyond grateful for all the friends and opportunities she has made! Outside of MUN, Kathy enjoys buying books she'll hardly finish, hanging out with her friends, and taking pictures of her cat. As USG of Crisis, she's super excited to boss around her fellow crisis (and maybe some GA) teammates to make this FIMUN 37 the best FIMUN yet!

Grace Sancruzado
Grace Sancruzado is a rising fourth year student majoring in both Political Science and International Relations. This will be Sancruzado’s second tenure as a member of Secretariat, as she has previously served as one the Co-Directors for Outreach for FIMUN36. She is excited to announce her newfound position as the first ever Head of Delegate Affairs for FIMUN37! She has also had the honor of serving within other organizations such as our very own Student Government Association, Student Health and Wellness department, Global Learning Program, and hopefully many more to come. Sancruzado is also a proud sister of Phi Mu’s Theta Gamma chapter, joining this organization within Fall ‘23.

Gabriella Sanchez
Gabriella Sanchez is a First-year at Florida International University double majoring in English & Natural and Applied Sciences. She recently joined Model UN in the spring, but has a great passion for it that she’s shown throughout the semester. Outside of MUN, she loves reading about history, writing all types of stories, and over analyzing Hozier lyrics. She’s beyond excited to serve as Assistant Director of Delegate Affairs alongside her fellow members of Secretariat and to put her all into FIMUN 37!

Tracy Mussotte
Tracy is a FIU sophomore, majoring in Physics and Philosophy with a minor in Mathematical Sciences. She grew up fond of the arts and science but also having an urge to advocate on others behalves. Which is what drew her to MUN as from a young age she saw the need to speak up for those who could not. Alongside being raised in South Florida by Haitian parents Tracy chose FIU to stay around a diverse community environment that she was used to growing up. At FIU she wants to learn how and why the universe around us works, because it’s important to first understand than to be understood. Outside of all the analytical, Tracy has grown fond of creative works through music and film and constantly working on new projects to express herself and help others.

Camila Flores Corsini
Camila (Cami) Flores Corsini is a third year double majoring in Health and Human Concerns, and Women’s and Gender Studies. She considers herself a third culture kid, having been born and raised in Venezuela, but also having lived in Italy and finally moving to the US in 2019. Cami has been doing Model UN since her junior year of high school, and she now serves as the Social Chair for the Model UN team here at FIU. Outside of Model UN, Cami enjoys reading books to escape reality (romances preferably), enjoying life through music (listening and/or playing it) and ranting about gender equality to anyone that will listen. She is beyond excited to serve as the Assistant Director of Delegate affairs, hoping to not only make FIMUN 37 an amazing experience for everyone, but share her immense love and passion for Model UN and the way that it has change her life.

Roscoe Lecomte
A bona fide FIMUN veteran by helping run three of them so far, Roscoe is as reliable as it gets. Now in her senior year at FIU double majoring in International Business and Management, Roscoe is now a co-director of Marketing for FIMUN 37. Hoping to one day break into Investment Banking, Roscoe is excited to intern as an operations manager at Amazon in California over the summer of 2024. Roscoe will use her experience managing the social media for other clubs on campus such as the French and Geology clubs to help delegates this year be the most informed and involved as they have ever been come March 2025.

Jason Salguero
Jason Salguero is a Third-Year at Florida International University majoring in International Relations, Political Science, and Philosophy with a certification in Law, Ethics, and Society. They served as the Secretary-General for FIMUN 36, and decided to keep it low-key this year as the Director of Marketing. They act as one of FIU MUN's Head Delegates, being a fierce competitor in all types of committees. Outside of MUN, they enjoy reading and writing about political philosophy, playing badminton, and listening to music for old people (shout-out to Simon and Garfunkel). They're so excited to return to Secretariat bring a beautiful aesthetic to FIMUN 37!

Marianna Banchero
Marianna Banchero is a senior at Florida International University completing her bachelor’s in International Relations with a minor in Political Sciences and a certificate in Human Rights and Political Transitions. She is also part of the FIU Honors College, the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS), and in the last year she became part of the FIU Model United Nations team. Marianna has always been very passionate about studying international conflicts, diplomacy, and exploring different languages and cultures, but the subject that has become closer to her heart is international human rights and humanitarian missions. She dreams in being able to help the international community in solving some of its humanitarian problems and establish some NPOs of her own. In addition, Marianna is a proud born and raised Brazilian, born in Rio de Janeiro, and raised in Porto Velho, Rondônia. She is deeply passionate about her culture but like many immigrant families, she moved with her family to the U.S. 7 years ago in searching for better life opportunities. At FIMUN37 she will be one of our Marketing co-directors and she is very excited to meet all of you and to be part of such an amazing conference.

Andres Gonzalez
Andres Gonzalez is a third year student at FIU, majoring in political science and studying for the pre-law certificate. He has a deep interest in public speaking as well as debate, which is ultimately what led him to Model UN. This is his first year being apart of the team and he could not be happier with his decision to join. He has learned countless new skills, made lifelong friends, and gained unforgettable experiences by being apart of Model UN. Aside from Model UN, Andres enjoys writing, going to concerts, and binging animated shows. He looks forward to contributing to the team as one of the co-directors of marketing.

Dr. Mohamed Ghumrawi
Dr. Mohamed Ghumrawi holds a Ph.D. in international relations (IR) from Florida International University (FIU), along with a Graduate Certificate in Middle East and Muslim World Studies. His main research and teaching focus is in politics and IR of the Middle East, with specific expertise on the Palestinian diaspora and Palestinian-Israeli relations. He also teaches and conducts research in multiple subfields of IR and political science, including strategic studies, national security studies, and the intersectionality of social and human rights movements globally, as well as race and ethnic politics.
