ERROR

Turn back now. You should not be here. There is something wrong here. It is dangerous. You are here far too early. Turn back. For those who choose to venture further, your safety is not guaranteed. If you are reading this you are already in grave danger, Remember, this is your last chance. We have tried to help you. You have ignored all the signs and warnings we have created. For those that venture forth, goodbye. Abandon hope, all ye who enter here.

The topic for the Ad-Hoc will not be released until the day before first committee session. This committee is only recommended for highly experienced delegates.

Crisis Director: Max Keck

Max Keck is a senior studying International Relations with a minor in Asian Studies and certificates in Chinese and National Security Studies. While Max was born in Singapore, a city-state in Southeast Asia, truthfully Max is an Ohioan having been raised in Cincinnati and joined the FIU MUN team in Fall 2022. Experienced delegates may remember Max as the CFO of FIMUN 35 or Washington Naval Conference Director from FIMUN 36. Recently returning delegates may know him as the United Automobiles Environmental Program co-director from FIMUN 37. Max has when not studying Mandarin or Spanish spent the better part of a year developing the Ad-Hoc topic and is excited to drop hints as FIMUN approaches! Every delegate should watch out for red herrings and focus on pursuits actually bearing fruit. Legally speaking there isn’t a hint in this bio. Obviously that would take too much effort, no?

Chair: Gabriella Sanchez

Gabriella Sanchez is a third-year honors college student double majoring in English and Natural & Applied Science with a certificate in Pre-Law studies. She was born and raised in Miami, and has a great love for natural areas such as the Everglades, and beaches in general, due to being brought up here. Since joining FIU’s Model UN team in spring of 2024, she has traveled to several conferences and had the privilege of becoming a Head delegate for the team this year.

A theater kid at heart, she loves the creativity and collaborative nature of crisis, and uses it as an opportunity to pretend like she’s playing a dungeons and dragons campaign all the time. She is incredibly excited to act as your chair for this year’s Adhoc, and is looking forward to an amazing FIMUN!
