Comrades of the Ministry of State Security (MSS), over the past several years, China under the leadership of General Secretary Xi Jinping has undergone great changes unseen in a century. From planting itself as the dominant power in the Indo-Pacific, to being the global leader in emerging technology design, research, and manufacturing, the world is now ready to bend to our will and accede to the national reunification of the Chinese people once and for all.
In the first half of this committee, delegates will enter a general assembly style committee and based on the 2030 5-year plan and national security white paper, delegates will have to construct a 内参 or internal document for use by the MSS. In the second half of this committee, delegates will enter a crisis style committee, and will have to execute the plans they wrote in the GA portion while also pursuing their own conniving agendas.
This committee will be advanced and delegates who plan to attend should have knowledge/experience of both GA and crisis and be prepared to enter a fast-paced and highly cranial environment.
Be prepared to eat bitterness, the future of all under heaven rests on your shoulders...

This committee is a UNSC equivalent and will include both General Assembly and Crisis procedures. It is only recommended for experienced delegates.
Director: Mikele Mancuso
同志们好! Hello Comrades! Mikele is double majoring in International Relations and Asian Studies on the Chinese Track with a certificate in AI, Big Data, and Ethics here at FIU. Mikele is a long-time member of FIU Model UN having served as Head Delegate two years ago during his sophomore year of college. He has been doing MUN for the better part of 8 years at this point (since his freshman year of high school) and participated in FIMUN for the first time as a delegate all the way back in 2019. He's attended well over 50 MUN conferences all over the world and has done just about every type of Model UN. Last year, he took a gap year to live in Taiwan and study Mandarin for a year but this year he's come back better than ever and ready to create an amazing committee experience for all of you guys
Chair: Giovanni Otrello
Giovanni Otrello is a Junior at Florida International University, originally from Napoli, Italy. He is majoring in Political Science with a minor in International Relations and aspires to attend law school. Giovanni discovered Model United Nations this fall and quickly developed a love for debate and diplomacy.
Though this will be his first time chairing, Giovanni is eager to take on the challenge and be part of FIMUN 38. Outside of MUN, he has worked with Amnesty International and enjoys collecting vintage vinyl records, spending time with his dog, being with family and friends, and watching football, FINS UP. Giovanni is excited to Chair All Under Heaven: Ministry of State Security of the People’s Republic of China 2030 and looks forward to Delegates creative approaches on how to solidify China as the world's leading power.
